The film has released in a huge number of screens across the Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, and also overseas countries like USA, Canada. Blue Sky bagged the movie’s overseas theatrical rights and released the movie in 140 screens across the USA. The movie’s promos had grabbed many eyeballs and viewers were eagerly waiting for its release in the theatres. The hype and promotion helped the film register decent amount of advance booking for its opening day.


Fidaa collected Rs 8.90 crore gross at the worldwide box office on the first day. Trade analysts predicted the movie will be the biggest opener and highest grossing film for Varun Tej. And now, Fidaa has crossed the golden figure of 1 million marks at the US box office making it the first film for Varun Tej in his career. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh Tweeted, “Telugu film #Fidaa continues to win hearts. Joins the ‘Million Dollar Club’ in USA… Mon $ 59,068. Total: $ 1,014,523 [₹ 6.53 cr]. @Rentrak”. Fidaa emerged as one of the biggest money spinners of Tollywood at the US box office and it has beaten the first-weekend collection records of Duvvada Jagannadham and Ninnu Kori.
